Chicago Fans! We've missed you and promise to bring you more regular posts now that we are heading into the fall. Unless you have been living under a rock this summer you are aware that the Bears have added some exciting players to the team this offseason.
This past Saturday, GM Ryan Pace went all in on this squad by trading the Bears 2019 and 2020 1st round picks for Khalil Mack. (more info on the trade and $141Million contract below) Mack is a certified defensive stud, top 3 pass rusher and Defensive player in the entire NFL! Along with aggressive moves in the 2018 draft (drafting ILB Roquan Smith #8 overall and two picks in 2nd round) and a very active Free agency period (Bears signed Allen Robinson, Tyler Gabriel, Trey Burton, and resigned Kyle Fuller) the Bears are many "experts" picks to be a team on the rise and very much improved in 2018.
Oh, almost forgot to mention that the Bears have an entire new coaching staff! Goodbye John Fox and your 1960s offense and hello Matt Nagy (pronounced Nah-gee) and a modern day offense built around 2nd year stud QB, Mitchell Trubisky. At the very least the Bears should be much more fun to watch in 2018!
Join us this Sunday night (get there early!) as the new look Bears take on those dreaded Cheeseheads from the North! Let's welcome Khalil Mack to town with some mini Ditkas while he slams Aaron Rodgers to the turf. Also, reminder that week 2 Bears game is Monday Night 9/15 and 710's infamous icon and mascot, Bobby Smalls, will be in town to cheer on the Bears over the Seahawks.
